  • Enable real-time tracking (live tracking) during shared navigation sessions

  • Ensure security, maintenance and service improvement

3. Legal Basis

Processing is based on service execution, legitimate interest (security, service improvement) and, when required, your consent. GPS location collection is subject to your explicit authorization through device permissions.

4. Data Retention

Data is retained for the duration necessary for processing purposes and in accordance with applicable legal obligations. Navigation sessions are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your sessions at any time from the application.

5. Data Sharing

Data is not sold. It may be shared with technical service providers strictly necessary for service operation. During live sessions, your position data is shared in real-time with other participants in the same session (with your consent).

6. Analytics and Cookies

The website uses Umami, a self-hosted and privacy-respecting analytics solution (no cookies). The mobile application does not contain any advertising trackers or data collection SDKs for marketing purposes.

8. Location Data

The application uses your device's GPS to provide maritime navigation features. Location is collected only when you start a navigation or regatta session. It may operate in the background to maintain tracking during navigation. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

9. Third-Party Services

The application uses the following third-party services: Google Sign-In (authentication), Google Play Services (distribution and billing), MapLibre (map display — no personal data transmitted). None of these services receive your navigation or GPS location data.

10. Security

Communications between the application and our servers are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.
